BIOGRAPHY
PAUL FAIRBROOK is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Brown University and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University. He was the Dean of the Culinary Institute of America, and Director of Auxiliary Services at Northern Illinois University and the University of the Pacific.
In 1962 he formed his own consulting firm and is currently active as a consultant, trainer and lecturer specializing in college and university food services. He has done consulting for the 1967 World's Fair in Montreal, the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., as well as for colleges and universities in the U.S.A., Germany, Bulgaria, Australia and Bangladesh.
In 1984 he received the "Theodore H. Minah Award for Excellence" from the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS), and in 1985 the "Silver Plate", a national award given by the Institutional Food Service Manufacturers Association. He is an honorary lifetime member of NACUFS, which he helped found in 1959, as well as of the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) and of the Canadian College Food Service Association (CCUFSA).
